Finally a natural cure for your puppy’s diarrhea

I can only assume that the last time your pup had diarrhea, you expected it to be the last, right? Not only can it be extremely complicated, but it can also be very expensive. Most pet owners will take their dogs to the vet or canine emergency room at the first sign of diarrhea. Most of the time, your pet’s upset stomach is usually due to a change in diet or perhaps some tasty junk he found outside.

The advice for your dog’s diarrhea is to catch it as soon as possible. The sooner you detect it, the faster you can fix it. Also, your carpet cleaning bill may not be that high! I always try to focus on natural remedies as you never know when you might need something. Sometimes your vet may be closed and you just can’t get the medicine he needs, and that’s where holistic remedies come into play. Many of the ingredients can be found at your local grocery or drug store. Although this is a natural remedy if you notice blood in your dog’s diarrhea or vomiting along with the diarrhea, visit the vet or emergency room as quickly as possible.

Here are two very simple tips to help with your dog’s diarrhea.

Sweet potatoes

You may have heard in the past that giving your pup boiled chicken and rice is a good solution for an upset stomach. Although I have found that it is not as effective for diarrhea and can be quite expensive. So a better solution is to give your pup boiled, baked, or even steamed sweet potatoes. Believe it or not, your dog will love these and so will his stomach. Research has shown that the phytonutrients in sweet potatoes have an anti-inflammatory effect on the digestive tract. Not only will it be a great natural remedy, but it is also very inexpensive.

pochai

The next remedy can be found in many health food stores and online and is called Po Chai. You will take this is a miracle drug for your dog’s diarrhea. Po Chai will go to work on your dog’s intestines and “miraculously” correct any imbalances. Po Chai is available in small lozenges that come in 10 vials per box. For a dog up to 25 pounds, give 1 1/2 ampules three times daily. For medium and large dogs, it is fine to give your dog one vial three times a day. You can expect to see results after administering the first vial. Usually you will only need to treat for a single day.
