West Coast Culture

People from all over the world flock to the United States. Whether visiting or staying, America has always been a place to seize opportunity. While there is common ground that unites us as citizens, in almost every region there is a unique industry, climate and culture.

The southern US is known for its hot weather, tornadoes, and hurricanes. Southern cuisine breaded and fried or seasoned and roasted convinces people to stay and ride out the storm. Kentucky is famous for its chicken, Georgia for Ray Charles, and Alabama for sweet home.

The east coast of the United States is also rich in culture, as it was where the original colonies settled. Over the years, the excitement of New York City, the stately elegance of Washington DC, and the busy streets of Boston have incessantly influenced and defined the world’s perception of Western civilization. Not only are these big cities capitals of government and fashion, they are a conglomeration of world cultures that all live and thrive together in large communities. Entire industries have emerged from these communities.

Sharing growth and influence is the generous West. Since the gold rush of the 19th century, people continue to settle throughout the West and West Coast in search of industrial and agricultural opportunities. Everyone knows that sunny California has the best wines, rainy Washington has the best apples, and Idaho can grow a potato like no one’s business. With California as the center of electronics and artistic advancements, the West continues to grow and prosper with a promising future.
