Most used baths after several years develop a kind of film on them from constant steaming and drying. They begin to look bored and dreamy. The first thing that is recommended at the base level is to paint the bathroom, if you feel that that is all that is wrong. Most of the bathrooms are painted with semi-gloss paint so that it repels moisture. These walls can be cleaned from the steam that accumulates on the walls. But if you think that painting is not enough, you should consider other options.

Small bathrooms or bedrooms, depending on what you have in them, can even become smaller or cramped. Starting with the most basic, as simple as where you put the towels and the things you usually hang. Sometimes it is better to remove the towel rails and just use towel hanging loops or hooks, sometimes this saves wall space. If you have a pedestal sink and are having trouble storing all of your stuff, you might consider a pair of mirrored medicine cabinets placed side by side to make it look like one large unit. And then just below that, put a 2- or 3-foot-long 6-inch shelf above the pedestal sink. This is where you can put all the items you use constantly, like rinse cups, hairbrushes, and any other loose items you’re having trouble finding a place you need to access quickly.

Of course, painting always brightens up a room, especially a bathroom. And that brings me to the detail work on the bathroom. If your bathroom is relatively old, you probably need to recaulk around the tub and anywhere else a fixture meets the wall. And another consideration will possibly be to re-grout any grout work that is dirty or looks dirty. this also greatly enhances the overall look of the tile work in the bathroom.
