Natural versus organic beauty products

There are countless health care brands on the market that offer a variety of beauty products with a large number of buyers for each segment. However, people tend to get confused by the terms used by these companies in the design of their products as to whether the product is natural or organic. Hearing the term ‘organic’, people associate products with natural components such as organic food without realizing that the phrase here means different.

Organic means a component derived from living matter. In other words, anything that is extracted from a natural thing and manufactured in a way that does not involve the use of artificial chemicals is called organic. Even 1% of the organic ingredients found in a natural make it impure. Products labeled with the organic logo ensure that the product is produced in the most hygienic conditions with zero application of fertilizers.

Meanwhile, natural ingredients are those that are obtained directly from plants and minerals and their processing is minimal or zero. One should be cautious when buying anything that is labeled natural, considering that many companies also mix synthetic items. There is a wide range of beauty care products ranging from makeup cosmetics to body lotions and moisturizers that people use on a daily basis.

However, with the constant rise of toxic products that are blatantly misleading with incorrect details and questionably low prices, consumers are turning to all natural skincare. It is a positive move considering that a person can protect themselves from the harmful effects of sodium lauryl sulfate, which is used in the manufacture of synthetic beauty creams and lotions and is very prone to causing skin cancer.

Since natural products are unrefined or pure, they are free of side effects and are more effective considering that they do not contain irritants. Also, they have an inherent fragrance that is very attractive. And in addition to the distinctive benefits, natural beauty products are very eco-friendly compared to their counterparts that omit dangerous gases during manufacturing. The absence of chemicals protects against skin irritations such as itching or redness. The most widely used natural beauty care products include coconut oil, which is highly effective in nourishing the lipid content of skin cells; Shea butter, that is, known to reduce facial scars, Tee Tree Oil, which is used in the manufacture of toothpastes and disinfectants; o Honey, that is, it is full of antioxidants and works as an antibacterial.

On the other hand, organic beauty products are also very beneficial but have some drawbacks. First of all, the cost of buying such products is not cheap. It is difficult for a common man to pay them. Second, the manufacture of these cosmetics involves very complex processing. Third, the period of time of organic products is not very long, that is, they expire much earlier than their equivalents. And fourth, organic beauty care products are not to everyone’s liking, as there is never a guarantee that a product will meet the requirements of a person’s skin or not.
