Strippers wear a variety of costumes, usually based on uniforms, movie heroes, and workwear stereotypes (such as construction workers). Most of the time, their costumes are fastened with a substance called velcro that comes apart easily and makes for amazingly quick removal of the costume.

The music provided by the Disc Jockey is popular, uplifting and provides the women with a joyous atmosphere for drinking and dancing and provides the acts with their background.

Most Drag is unapologetic: a man in a dress with his exaggerated feminine attributes, wigs, false eyelashes, false breasts, painted nails, sparkly jewelry, and high heels.

The typical Stripper is expected to be handsome, muscular, and tanned. His penis is enlarged by using an elastic band. He is expected to show a cheeky and sexy personality and use his nudity to elicit screams and laughter.

Both Drag Queens and Male Strippers have widespread support from fans who travel distances to see their idols. Many Drag Queens provide the sound systems for the smaller venues and work in collaboration with the Disc Jockey. The strippers arrive with their music on tape or minidisc and hand it over to the Disc Jockey before the show begins. Generally, bachelorette parties are attended entirely by women, with the foursome being the only men there to entertain them.

The strippers increase their fee by selling publicity photos of themselves after the show. Many Drag Queens organize the Bachelorette Parties themselves although there are numerous Agencies and clubs that put on the Shows. These will charge a percentage for their services, individually agreed with the artists.
